What you get
All American Barbell racks are constructed with 3 x 3 11-gauge steel frames with 3/4″ hardware. This particular models stands 7.5 ft tall, 46″ wide, and 36″ deep. If you require a bit more inside space, there is also a 48″ deep model that comes in 7 ft, 7.5 ft, and 8 ft height options.
As mentioned earlier, American Barbell racks are primarily found in fitness facilities and are designed for high usage while withstanding maximum poundage. As such, this model must be anchored to the floor. It’s also modular and easily expandable. You can essentially design your own layout or add additional modules for storing plates, bars, and attaching third party attachments.
Attachments
Speaking of attachments, American Barbell offers some valuable pieces such as a land mine, step-up platform, monkey rig attachment, leg rollers, and various chin-up bar attachments. You wont find lat pull down systems as these racks appear to be more for a power and strength audience.
Warranty
American Barbell Racks or Rigs have a lifetime structural warranty against factory defects. There is also a 3 year warranty on moving parts ( manufacturer defects) and a 90 day warranty on the powder coat and paint (manufacturer defects). In addition, as mentioned earlier, all racks and rigs must be anchored to the floor, or wall if required.
Availability
It appears that American Barbell was hit hard over the last year as most of their stock was depleted. Only recently have they been able to replenish the 36″ and 48″ racks, along with some squat stands. Also, pricing has been reduced by a few hundred dollars on these models. It may be a good time to take advantage of these offers if you’re looking for a high quality and modular rack. There is also free shipping to the lower 48 States.
