HulkFit 1000 Power Rack
The Hulkfit 1000 power rack has 11-gauge 2.5″ x 2.5″ steel frames giving it a 1000lb weight capacity. It measures 81″ H x 44″ W x 47″ D and weighs 165lbs when assembled.
This model includes safety bars, j-cups, dip handles, of a multi-grip pull-up bar. You can find decent racks for under $400, but they generally don’t have a lot of add-on options. The Hulkfit 100 power rack offers several optional attachments which turn this rather average power rack into a full-blown gym.
Attachments
The HulkFit 1000 power rack has two optional primary attachments: a lat pull-down system and the cable crossover. While there are plenty of power racks on the market that offer lat pull-down attachments, not many have a cable crossover. The crossover attachment measures 120 x 81 x 31.5 inches and accepts 2″ diameter plates. If you have space and want a full home gym setup, you should consider purchasing both attachments.
Usability
The Hulkfit 1000 power rack can provide a lot of exercise variation, especially if you take advantage of those optional attachments. However, even without the extensions, this model is still a decent choice for a home gym if you’re on a budget. It’s well-built looks fantastic and comes with some freebies such as the dip handles and the multi-grip pull-up system.
