If you were interested in the PR-1000 series power racks, the REP Fitness All You Need package might also interest you. Bundled with the PR-1000 rack, flat bench, Olympic barbell, and 175 lbs iron weight set, the All You Need package is a quick and budget-friendly way to get your home gym up set up without settling for a product with less than average build quality.
The PR-1000 squat rack uses 2" x 2" 14-gauge steel frames to support 700 lbs. Fully assembled, the PR-1000 weighs 144 lbs and stands 83" tall with a comfortable inside to inside measurement of 26" depth x 44" wide.
The PR-1000 features rear weight pegs for storage, dual integrated pull-up bars (1.25" in the front and 2" in the rear), 2" hole spaces through the workout area, extended safeties, and numbered uprights.
If ceiling height is an issue, you may consider the shorter 72" model PR-1050 instead of the PR-1000. However, keep in mind that you can't take advantage of the optional lat pull-down, landmine, or rack extension attachments if you choose the shorter model.
If space isn't an issue, you should probably consider the PR-1100 considering it comes with a multi-grip pull-up bar, has color options, access to more attachments, and the cost is less than the PR-1000 and 1050. The PR-1100 is slightly taller than the PR-1000, standing at 84-inches, but you can adjust the pull-up bar.
REP'S standard Olympic barbell is included in the Rep Fitness All You Need package. It measures 30mm in diameter, weighs 44 lbs, and has a zinc coating with bolted sleeves. It's an excellent bar for basic lifts, but you may want to consider something like REP'S Gladiator or Black Sabre barbell for Cross-fit or Olympic lifts.
REP also includes the FB-3000 flat-bench in the package. It comes in several color options to match your rack ( if you opt for the PR-1100) and has a high-density pad that prevents lifters from sinking into the bench while pressing. It supports up to 1000 lbs and is very comfortable. The only problem is that it isn't adjustable, and you'll need to upgrade if you want that functionality.
Last, a 175 lb set of Olympic weights comes with the All You Need package. You also have the option of upgrading to a set of bumper plates, hex plates, or you can increase the weight set to 270 lbs. These are iron weights so if you choose not to upgrade you may want to look at some flooring.
Remember, depending on the model you choose, there are additional attachments. Some of the most popular ones are the lat pull-down (available for the PR-1000 and PR-1100), dip bars, rack extension (PR-100, 1100) and landmine (PR-1100). As mentioned earlier, if space isn't an issue, the best option is probably the PR-1100.
The REP All You Need package is currently in stock. However, keep your eye on this package as it tends to go quickly, and it could take some time to re-stock. Now, REP is offering free shipping, so that makes the deal even sweeter.
