Rep Fitness has introduced another very popular workstation to its lineup. The SR-4000 series squat rack is a very durable, versatile yet affordable squat rack for home gym set ups. It’s just another option for those who don’t want a full power rack but want similar functionality.
The SR-4000 was redesigned with stability and durability in mind. With it’s upgraded 3″ x 3″ 11-gauge steel frames (upgraded from 2.5″ x 2.5″), the SR-4000 now supports up to 1500lbs on its included j-cups. The redesign also brings two height options, 96″ and 103″. Interestingly, there used to be an 83″ model that appears to have been dropped from the lineup.
Base dimensions for this model is 73″ x 53″ and weighing between 230lbs to 237lbs, depending on the height option you choose, the SR-4000 series squat rack doesn’t require floor mounting. Weight pegs already exist for stability but there are pre-drilled holes for those who want the additional security.
What makes this model interesting is that it supports all of the REP-4000 series attachments including the iso-arms, Monolift, Lat pulldown, dip bars, and Landmine. There is even a belt-squat attachment. You get to decide the look, feel, and functionality of your home gym whenever you want. You don’t have to purchase a squat rack from one company, and go searching for attachments that may or may not work, or have the same quality with another company.
At the very least the SR-4000 series squat rack is worth every penny for those who need a home workout option. If you’re a beginner you can’t go wrong, but if you’re an intermediate to advanced lifter you need this. Also, REP Fitness just started offering free shipping so there has never been a better time to buy.
